Imagine the feeling of eating but you could never be mobile. Just completely sedentary. You cannot avoid eating, because you are hungry. However, what if you never moved your body the amount of time needed in a day to use any source of energy that food has produced? I thank God for the ability to exercise, even if it is just to take a good long walk. In addition, think about it…exercise helps you to age gracefully (just ask your joints). Your face may tell the story of youthfulness but so can your body if you use it enough and in the right way. Sure, there may be some “minor” aches and pains, and other health issues, but if we make use of the exercise, we can keep issues to a minimum (along with proper eating habits). I thank God for exercise!
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.

Days of PURPOSEFUL Thankfulness – Day #68
