Today many of us have been given a day of rest from work in
honor of Labor Day. It is a blessing to be given the opportunity to use our
hands, our minds, our gifts and talents in exchange for wages in the marketplace.
How many of us can say that we’ve been fortunate to ride that train of entrepreneurship?
Perhaps one day we’ll have that opportunity. Or maybe you are of the mindset
that you don’t want to work at all. Whatever the case, it is a privilege to use
the bodies we have been given to work. In working, many of us have found that
we get to put our skills behind the type of work that we feel good about and
contribute to the welfare of others. And for many who are not fortunate to work
they wish they had the opportunity. So, be found thankful today for the work of
your hands.
