You will have to forgive me today I have no analogies to
start my post. No questions, no “what-ifs.” I just have a thankfulness in my
heart for answers. Answers to questions that have been “unasked” in my mind (I
know that’s not a word—roll with it). Answers to things I’ve pondered that have
practically fallen in my lap, though not really (I know the source of all my help).
See I was working on a writing project and I was kind of pondering how I wanted
to sandwich it…that’s my analogy for how to start the article and how to close
it. Without even planning it, something showed up in my e-mail that required my
need to decide how to take action on this e-mail which in turn became the
opener for my writing project. The e-mail and the writing project are totally
unrelated! It’s as if someone orchestrated that e-mail as the answer to what I
was working on. The beauty of what I was working on is that the beginning and
ending came full circle in my writing project totally based on my e-mail and
has absolutely nothing to do with the content of my project but the basis of
the email and my writing project are totally related, pulling everything
together. Are you confused? I’m sorry I know… Maybe one day I’ll get to share
it with you and you’ll understand. But trust me, it was the answer I needed.
What answers have you received today? I know…I said no questions today. I lied!
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.
