Have you ever had just a little bit of difficulty with getting
something accomplished and someone for no reason at all helped you? Ever had to
move to a new home or just move a piece of furniture or a TV, and a friend, or
a neighbor—someone helped you, no questions asked? They didn’t expect to be
paid they just did it out of the kindness of their heart? Doesn’t it just feel
good when someone helps you with no ulterior motives? No, one wants to be taken
advantage but sometimes you just need a helping hand. It helps strengthen your
hope in humanity when God blesses you with people in your life who can just be
there for you in the way that you need when necessary. Sometimes you just need
someone to listen to you; you’re not looking for them to solve your problem.
But as much as we feel blessed when people are there for us, never forget to be
that blessing that someone else may need. I firmly believe that when you make
things happen for others (with no ulterior motives), God will notice and send
the right people along to help make the things happen that you need in your
life. In life, never expect that you will always reap where you’ve sown;
sometimes those people don’t have what you need. But that doesn’t mean that
your harvest isn’t somewhere else. I know this to be true. Thank God for the kindness
you experience in life and pay it forward.
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.
