I hate to say it, but at one time it would put me in one of the most mind pleasing moods ever. Things could be going a little rough but just a little bit of THAT and I’d be good to go! It’s as if it would set the world right for me. I could have it all day long but I know that’s not healthy. I’m better now days but the love of it still hasn’t gone away—CHOCOLATE! Dark Chocolate, milk chocolate, peanut butter and chocolate (REESE’S)…it doesn’t matter! But seriously, I thank God for that study I encountered, Made to Crave that helped bring me into balance; I was so far out of balance. And in light of my balance I thank God for simple pleasures He allots us that were never meant to take the place of any real emotional needs, like chocolate. The cacao bean is one of the greatest gifts of nature He could have ever provided. He had to be thinking of me when He made it…ha ha ha! So, barring any STRONGHOLDS, for what simple pleasure(s) are you grateful today?
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.
