Have you ever looked
up at the sky and thought, “Wow! What a beautiful sunset!” When was the last
time you just sat and watched birds fetching for food or just fluttering
around? Do you love seeing the colors in the wings of a butterfly? What about
nature’s 3-D painting of Arizona Mountains, and palm trees? Okay…now I’m going
to go a little deep on you. Females—I think I already know the answer to this….
Have you ever been walking past a man pretending you weren’t paying him any
attention? When in reality your brain somehow switched over to some sci-fi,
android-type mechanism where you picked up his frame and facial features in a
millisecond and almost blew an internal circuit? The whole while you just
strolled on by, looking straight ahead and trying not to break into a smile. Ha
ha! Okay…come on back, I didn’t say lust. J Guys, we already
know what you do! J Seriously…so I’ve mentioned sunsets,
birds, colors in nature, trees, and yes—gorgeous people. God has blessed us
with beauty
all around. I think life would just be bland if we never experienced beauty in
everyday life, don’t you? I am grateful to God for beauty in so many things in
life, especially in music. I can’t leave out music. The sound of stringed
instruments, or a smooth sax, or keys on a piano—whatever! If your brain has
been consuming a lot of bad news lately, I advise you to take a break from it.
Go find you a source of beauty; it’s great therapy. Thank God for it. But stay
away from stalking people! J That would be just
downright freaky…and lustful.
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.
