Today it’s a very
simple thing for which to be thankful, yet it’s a thing we’ve learned to do
without thinking much about it. It’s a necessity; there are very few
occupations you could do without this necessity. Actually, nothing comes to my
mind right now that you could do at all now days without it. Unless you have a
very good eye for things and excellent taste buds I don’t think you could cook
without it. I can’t even imagine going grocery shopping or driving without this
necessity. As a matter of fact you’re doing it right now. You’re reading. What
would your world be like without reading?! Well, I’ve given you some clues
above but in this day and age you could forget joining the millions who surf
the internet and spends lots of time on social media. Well that’s all I got for
you today! I have to get in about ½ hour of strength training before I get
ready to head off to work. I’ll let you go read something else right now. J And hey…anytime you want to find something to
complain about today just imagine the isolation you’d feel if you couldn’t
read. Keep your head above the waters of discontentment!
We all hope to learn from our own experiences but there are those times when we also glean from others. These lessons offer great opportunities for stimulating our minds or emotions to a higher level: inspiration. Life itself is full of inspiration, whether it's from witnessing the simplicity or complexity in nature or finding valuable lessons in the things we encounter on a daily basis. Ultimately the hope is that inspiration evokes positive change in our lives on a daily basis.
